3 Ways Brand View Enhances Media Planning

How AAM Brand View helps media planners save time when researching news media and magazine brands.

AAM Brand View helps publishers share their unique brand messaging alongside AAM-verified data with media planners and buyers. More than 350 news, magazine and business media clients have activated their profiles in AAM’s Media Intelligence Center.

How can media buyers benefit from using Brand View? We recently held a webinar that outlined three ways the platform helps buyers save time.

Single Data Source

Brand View allows buyers to view all facets of a publisher’s brand in one convenient location. This includes verified circulation and audience metrics, links to media kits and rate cards, brand videos, charts and images, advertising contacts and more. With Brand View, buyers can learn about publishers’ unique media options in one place, saving time and resources.

Helpful Visual Tools

Brand View makes it simple to get a quick overview of a media property’s distribution and reach through easy-to-use visual tools. We recently introduced the following additional features for news and magazine media client profiles:

  • Distribution Map: This interactive heat map gives a visual overview of a newspaper’s ZIP code distribution and household coverage. The map can be filtered, saved and downloaded into Excel and automatically updates to include the most recent quarterly data. This feature is available for more than 1,000 U.S. news media clients.
  • MPA MM360° Brand Audience Report: AAM partnered with MPA—the Association of Magazine Media to integrate the MPA MM360° Brand Audience report into Brand View for all participating AAM magazine media clients. Metrics from print and digital editions, web, mobile web, video and total 360° figures are presented through charts and graphs and automatically include data from the most recent monthly report.

Share Data Easily

Each Brand View profile comes with a custom link that can be shared with anyone—even those who do not have access to AAM’s Media Intelligence Center. Brand View also makes it easy to download data, statements, charts and graphs to share with others or include in reports.
